These pictures have certainly evolved over the last year!

Harper at 1 week old!

Princess Harper is 1 YEAR old!

How am I doing mom?

Seriously?! Have you taken enough yet?

Baby modeling is so tough!
Harper Susan Reeves has changed our lives and filled them with joy (and maybe a little sleep deprivation) over the last year. Here is a little update on how she is doing.
• This little girl is dying to talk. She babbles in her own little language all the time.
• She is getting really good at her animal sounds (dog, duck and bear are most popular).
• She continues to say dada a lot (although the version of the word for Dad and Dog are very similar).
• She has FINALLY started to say mama occasionally- although it is more often associated with food than her mom. (This truthfully happened at around 12.5 months).
• "Hi!" is one of her first real words and it is very clear and used appropriately
• She is cruising very easily and barely needs to hold on, but she hasn't started unassisted walking yet.
•She doesn't love milk (she is trying one percent) in her sippy cup but takes it pretty well in her nap time bottle (the only bottle she takes). We worked our way down from half formula/ half milk to all milk.
• She is usually a good eater (loves yogurt, waffles, pancakes, cheese, Mac and cheese, grilled cheese, peanut butter and jelly, watermelon, bananas, strawberries etc.). But goes through periods where nothing seems to work.
•She loves ice cream and is happy as a clam sharing a chocolate ice cream come with her Grams!
• She FINALLY started taking an afternoon nap (anywhere from 1 hour to 2.5 hours) at around 11.5 months. (Now I wonder how I survived without it).
• At her 12 month appt her stats were: Head circumference 46.7 cm (90%), weight 21lbs, 2oz. (52%), and height 29.75in (72%).
• She had her first real illness (4-5 day fever) right after her birthday. It was probably harder on mom and dad, but it wasn't fun for anyone!
She continues to love social interaction and learn new things every day. We can't wait to see what the next year brings!
