End of summer fun

Summer is winding down and we are soaking up the last warm days, while also enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of my favorite season... Fall!

Our August was full of family. After a fun visit from Grandma and Grandad Reeves, we headed off to Pennsylvania for some time with the Drelick side. (Harper and mommy got to spend 10 days there and daddy joined us for the long weekend). Here are some pictures from the trip. (Unfortunately we don't have any electronic pics of the Reeves' grandparents visit but she had a blast and we have hard copies of some great shots!)

The night we arrived Harper decided to test out the little potty before her bath...

Woah! Mom! I pooped in the potty! (Clearly just good timing but we were still proud).

Sitting at the little table that used to be mommy and Aunt Emily's

Sharing in one of Gregory's favorite activities... Mowing!

Sharing the table (she would share with Gregory but would push any adults off the bench).

Meeting cousin Riley

Testing out Gregory's trike and helmet

Swimming at the Stewart's pool

Swimming is tiring!

Taking her snacks along for some mowing

Preparing for Saturday morning errands with Gramps!

Woo hoo! We got donuts!

I love you Gramps (and your donuts too!)

Woo hoo Sugar Rush!

Hammock swinging

Giving good old Corby some love

Eating breakfast in an OLD high chair- and showing off her new slippers that she insisted on sleeping in

Look! I got my own helmet!

She loved the helmet and wore it all the time- even when the trike was not involved

Looking like a big girl

Cuddling with Grams (with crazy post nap hair)

Snuggling

Baby girl slept till halftime of the Irish game (which was about 10:45) but woke to cheer them on!

Touchdown Irish!

Watching football is a little different with a toddler!

Riley Elisabeth and Gregory Earl with their Godparents

Family

All good things must come to an end... But that doesn't mean we have to be happy about it :(
