Chicago Fun!

When we learned that the classic "Catholics versus Convicts" (ND vs. Miami) matchup was taking place during Chicago marathon weekend, we knew it was the perfect weekend for a Reeves/Knokey get together. (Meghan played basketball at Miami).
The dads got to go to the game Saturday night while the moms carbo loaded and tended to Harper and Avary. Then the roles reversed Sunday morning when the dads watched the girls and cheered on the moms in the marathon. A good time was had by all (although we were definitely happier with the football outcome. Sorry Meghan.... Kinda!)

In front of the Weber Grill man... A tradition from the Drelick ladies trips to Chicago.

Getting a ride from daddy at the marathon expo.

Avary sporting her mommy's colors. (We can't hold it against her, she is too cute.)

Daddies and daughters

The next generation... Catholic vs. Convict! (Don't worry Avary, we will save you!)

Harper practicing touchdown for the game.

Our little social butterfly

Watching the ND band... "mommy get out of the way, I can't see the cheerleaders!"

More band watching, they were pretty entertained.

Staying warm in the hospitality tent before the marathon.

Apparently the thought of mommy's running wore Harper out.

The girls playing while they waiting for their mommies. (Can you tell daddy was in charge of Harper's hair?)

Congratulations on your race mommy! A personal record (3:57).

Mommy giving her princess some love.

Warm back in the hotel after the race.

The girls thought Jon was hilarious!

Harper and her Godfather. Lots of love here!
