Go Irish!

Harper had a great time during our trip to South Bend for the ND vs. Pitt game. We thought she might survive a quarter or two of the game... Turns out she made it through three overtimes! Here are some pictures from the trip.
We flew in on Halloween so, of course, Harper had to travel in style...

Abby Cadabby! (One of the many Sesame Street characters that were not around when we were little!)

Mommy and her little fairy

Greeting Dziadziu (yes, I gave in... She calls him Dzia-dziu... Somehow she can say that but not gramps).

Excited to see the grandparents

Abby Cadabby leading the old folks through ND's student center

Taking a walk on campus after one of her many bookstore purchases

Enjoying the view

He would NEVER have let us do this as kids (yet HE was the instigator here!)

Swimming in the hotel pool

Donut trip with Dziadziu!

Bundled for game day

Always a performer

Daddy and daughter taking in campus

Covering a lot of ground.

Ready for kickoff! She was very popular in our section!

She got lots of practice saying "Irish" and "Touchdown"... Now she declares "Irish!" every time there is football on tv.

Someone needed a nap during the third quarter... Lucky for her she woke up to an exciting Irish victory!

  1. My goodness, Liz...Harper is a cutie patootie! Also, I laughed out loud about the "he would have never let us do that" comment...funny how grandparents have different rules than they did as parents, huh? Mine are always handing out dessert! (ps It's Nikki from Stroller Strides)
