Harper's Second Christmas

Sorry it took me so long to post this. Things have been a little crazy the last few weeks. Fair warning... this is a LONG post of pictures, there were just too many good ones!
The Christmas season was even more fun than usual this year. We knew Harper was too young to really understand Christmas, but we underestimated how "into it" she would be anyway. She LOVED to talk about Santa and "sing" Christmas songs. She loved the lights and really enjoyed unwrapping her presents!

Harper loved to TALK about Santa.... Did NOT like the idea of sitting on his lap.

Only slightly less terrified when daddy came to protect her.

Having festive "tea" with daddy.

Hanging out with Lily (the daughter of one of mommy's best high school friends.

High school gang, 13 years later!

More reading with her buddy

 A typical Harper look

Checking out her new name stool

"Look the letters come out like a puzzle!"

 More unwrapping

Time out for a family picture (while she tries out her princess camera)

Checking out her new blocks

Building

Love the concentration

Apparently the block bag also serves as a cool reading hat

Sitting amongst her mess

Playing in the water (I mean "washing her hands")

Santa baby dancing

Hugging "Ho Ho Ho"

Christmas morning is exhausting

Family on Christmas Day

Squirmy little girl

Checking out Babcia's new rocking horse! So fun!

Loves the horse at first sight (and try)!

A little unsure once the horse made noise (but Babcia is there to protect her)

Stealing Babcia's dessert

Loving in Babcia

Ironing on an ironing board my parents apparently bought for me as a child but forgot to give me! It was unopened! She knew just what to do.

Watching one of Dziadziu's favorite Christmas movies, Polar Express... She Loved it

Our trip to Knightstown was delayed a day because of a snow storm. We were bummed to miss some the Reeves family from Texas but she did enjoy the snow.

Loving the 13 inches that fell in Oil City.

Nighttime snow walk

Walking with daddy

Walking down the middle of the street

Giggling

We finally arrived in Knightstown on December 27th....

Of course she loves to lay down (and go face down) in the snow

Surveying the land with Grandad

Playing with Grandma

Sharing baby dolls with Grandad

Quality time with cousin Jackson

Piano time with Grandma Reeves. (We aren't sure why, but Harper did NOT want Grandma to play the piano. She would come running saying "No, No, No!"

Disrupting grandma

 Enjoying her first tractor ride!

So much fun to ride tractors with Grandad! She even got to beep the horn!

Looking at Grandad's iPad

Testing out the stroller Santa left her in MN

Immediately attached to the princess Castle waiting for her in MN.
