Halloween 2015

Inching our way closer to the present...

Halloween!
Harper decided 11 months in advance that she would be Annie for Halloween, and she didn't disappoint! Finley dressed as one of her favorites, Minnie Mouse.

There are lots of opportunities to wear your costume around here... Edina Pumpkinfest, music class,  dance class, school parties and finally trick or treating!

Pumpkinfest (trick or treating in "downtown" Edina

Pumpkin painting
(We can't carve pumpkins too early because the crazy MN squirrels eat the pumpkins, as soon as they get outside. So this year the girls painted some indoor pumpkins, too)

"Spooking" at Harper's school

Best buddies (Elsa, Annie and Aurora, of course) at dance class

Halloween, FINALLY arrived!

Mommy's carving handiwork (the girls designed the face,  but were split on the "yucky" cleaning out process... not surprisingly, Harper could not get farther from it and Finley found it very interesting)

All ready to trick or treat
(They hit up most of the houses on our block and then returned to our front porch to continue the tradition of daddy, hot chocolate and handing out candy... mommy kept an eye on the Irish football game inside).

Even Daddy Warlocks made an appearance!

A few early November milestones for good measure:

Hesburgh's 8th birthday

Finley's first move in a theatre, and the start of her love affair with the Peanuts gang!
