Watch Me Grow.... Sort of.

Harper is 10 months old! (Well, 10.5 by now). You will probably notice, however, that there are no pooh pictures to track her size. We attempted a photo session, but it seems that Miss Harper has developed a fear of her giant Classic Pooh! (He is rather large, but she has never met a dog she didn't like- so it surprised us to see her reaction). After initial panic, she was willing to "pet" him, as long as I didn't attempt to leave her alone with him! Maybe next month she will have warmed back up to him.








A quick update:
• She is pulling up on everything!
• She can "cruise" a little on furniture but still drops to her crawl when she is in a hurry
• She is eating three "real" food meals a day - basically pieces of anything we have around the house.
• She still nurses in the morning and right before bed. She sometimes gets a mid afternoon bottle but often skips it.
• She is like a little squirrel- she fits so much food in her cheeks before she swallows!
• She LOVES cottage cheese. Scrambled eggs, bananas, blueberries, waffles, cheese and crackers are some of her other favorites. (She does eat her veggies too- but will leave them for last if there are other options).
• She is very vocal. I am not sure that she is really discriminating yet, but we get a lot of dadada and Mamama and bababa.
• She does a "wuff" sound anytime she sees a dog
• She waves a lot (her pageant wave, as we call it)
• She loves to clap - and will do so anytime we start to sing "happy and you know it".
• She is sleeping really well at night- 11 or 12 hours usually.
• No - there are still no crib naps!
